An invitation to join an old car club.We are an organization of people who love old cars... ALL old cars...be they from the 1890's through the pre-war 1940's and even newer. As long as you have an interest in old cars, you can join in the fun with the Nor-Cal group. General Information: The Northern California Regional Group of the Horseless Carriage Club of America is an active car club of local members who meet once a month to share restoration tips, local leads on cars and parts, technical information, and expertise. In addition, we are a touring group who travel in the old cars on monthly outings such as picnics, ice cream socials, tours to spots of interest and so forth. Our primary purpose is to enjoy and drive our old cars on planned events and to have fun. History: The Nor-Cal group has been around over 50 years having incorporated in 1948. Dues: The dues are $20.00 a year. However, in order to belong to the Nor-Cal group, you must also be a member of the national organization, the Horseless Carriage Club of America. Invitation: We are a family-oriented membership so all spouses, children and friends are cordially invited to attend the meets and activities we sponsor. Our Purpose: Members of the Nor-Cal group of the Horseless Carriage Club of America are dedicated to the preservation of automobiles of ancient age and historical value, their accessories, archives and romantic lore. Communication: We keep our members informed of the goings on at both National and local levels. We do this by holding monthly meetings and by publishing information in the club's newsletter. We publish a monthly newsletter called the Brass Nuts. Annual Swap Meet: Once a year in April, our club sponsors an old car swap meet. Need More Information?
